Good evening to one and all.  Silver Streak here.  I know that it has been a while since I last wrote an article for this blog, but I have had a lot of things going on in my personal life.  It has not been an easy time for me.  But I know that I have God standing with me and I know that this makes a difference.

I pray that everyone out there in cyberland is having a good time, that school is going along good for you and that you are looking forward to summer and Chrysalis in July.  I know that I am.  I know that it is going to be a great flight and that lives will be changed.  Having said that now is the time to be talking to your friends about the Flight and taking them with you.  The more the merrier.  Judson College is a great place to experience the things that God has for you.  Meeting new friends, making posters, doing skits, dancing, praying, dancing, eating, praying, eating.  Did I say eating.

This evening I spent at Poplar Grove United Methodist Church as they sponsored their first Gathering.  It was fun to renew friendships and meet new friends.  I had a chance to talk to several youth about God and their walk.  During the service there was a time that I had a different vision than most of the group.  There were three little blonde haired children around a year old playing at the front of the Sanctuary during the service.  During the praise teams playing of "Amazing Grace",  the kids were on their stomach and crawling towards the Altar.  To me it was a vision of us at the time of our acceptance of God's grace, as we crawl towards Him with out hands stretching for Him.  What a time that is.

I will leave you with a short prayer.  "Father, I praise you for what you have given me, without me knowing it.  I also praise you for what you are doing for me and what you will do for me in the future.  I know that I have asked "Why Me, Lord,' when in actuality I should have been asking "Why Not Me?"  That is what I now ask you Father, in my prayers, "Why Not Me, Lord" I thank you Dad, for the times that you have carried me when I fell or faltered.  I thank you for everything you have done for me.  I pray that you will help me through the upcoming months as I try to help the youth of our world learn about you and how they can do what I am doing right now.......talking to You.  Again, Dad, thank you for everything and I love you.  Your child Amen.

Good night all, Silver Streak is leaving and will be back later.
